We very sadly lost Paul Winston Churchill - Murt on the 16th June 2010. One of Plymouths true characters, he will be missed by us all. This website will be maintained in his honour.
Please add anything you wish to the online Book of Condolence On the 24th Sept 2010, Murt's Sound & Music Technology
degree is being awarded, and the first recipient of the Paul Churchill
Memorial Award will be announced by the University
It is only fitting
then that we should celebrate his achievements, raise a glass or two, play some
music for him and celebrate his life just the way he would have wanted
it
PLEASE NOTE THE TIMES..... The Barbican Live Lounge have very kindly
said we can have the venue to ourselves from 6 until
10pm, so its early doors people, but its friday night, so leave work, and come
and join us as early as you can
Howling Dunc and his band All Folked Up
and Blue will be playing, but it will be open mic; is it over ambitious to think
we can get a decent amount of members of the Gentlemen over the years having at
least a bit of a jam, we shall see....some for sure?! But if you played in the
Gentlemen, you should prob bring your guitar eh..let us know
At 10pm,
doors open to the public, and local band the Rock and Roll Outlaws will be
playing a very tight set of some classics at around 1030, so you can stay on for
a few more drinks after Murts private party if you wish. You are of course
welcome to bring partners, guest etc
